The Village Hall is a registered charity and is run by a Management Committee of volunteers. We are responsible for all aspects of the management of the village hall and work closely with the Trustees.

I moved to Kirk Hammerton from London in 2018 and love being a part of the village community. I live with my two black labradors, Olive and Mika, sing in a choir and am involved with some regional archaelogy groups. I’m committed to ensuring the space benefits the whole community.

I’m a relative newcomer to the village and joining the village hall committee has been a great way to get to know more people and to get involved in and contribute to village life! The Village Hall is a brilliant place, and the more it can be used for community the better!

I’ve lived in the village since the beginning of 2022 and quickly grew to love its friendly community and character. I manage bookings for the Village Hall and enjoy helping local people and organisations make the most of this much-loved community space.

I’ve lived in Kirk Hammerton for 25 years and have always been involved with the village hall in one way or another. From being in the original team that set up film club, to running a wine club and also being a regular performer with the village band The Hammertones.

I live in Kirk Hammerton with my husband, our three children, and our springador, Ridley, who you’ll often see me out walking around the village. I love living here because it offers the perfect balance of rural life while still being within easy reach of York, Harrogate, and Leeds.
Joining the Village Hall Management Committee has given me the opportunity to combine my passion for bringing people together with helping to build a welcoming and inclusive community for everyone to enjoy.

I have lived in Kirk Hammerton since 2000 and am married with three children, all of whom attended the village school. Over the years, I have come to value the strong sense of community that makes the village such a special place to live, along with its beautiful surroundings and welcoming atmosphere.
I feel very proud to be part of the Village Hall Committee, helping to support the community and contribute to keeping Kirk Hammerton a vibrant, friendly, and supportive village for everyone who lives here.

I’ve been a KH resident for the last nine years.
I’m passionate about helping to strengthen our local community and making the hall a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
Many of you will know me as the face behind KH Cafe which was created in 2025. I’m really enjoying running the cafe and love meeting customers old and new.
I’m looking forward to working with more people to support events, activities, and new ideas that bring people together
